SKAI2PAY – Just Smoke and Mirrors! Mona99 Without a Licence & PAYNETICS AD Only a Provisional Licence. MASTERCARD Alarmed!
SKAI2PAY or SKAI2 is having licensing issues. To circumvent this problem, another player was created: Mona99 GmbH, based in Vienna. This company, founded by Karlheinz Dobnigg on 13. June 2022, aimed to obtain a licence as a financial service provider, but this goal was never achieved, and it shows a negative balance. Thus, it cannot be considered an established company.
MyWorld is now known for engaging in “corporate bed-hopping” with truly established financial companies. But without success, not least because Bank Austria is also under criminal investigation by the WKStA against Hubert Freidl.
Behind Mona99 GmbH is a company registered in the UK called Mona99 Limited, which was recently renamed SKAI2PAY LIMITED, and behind it stands Sharif Omar from myWorld. They breed companies in Freidl’s corporate lab as needed. Independence and reputable partners? Again, none!
But how do you get the required licences? SKAI2 and the negatively balanced Mona99, as mentioned, do not meet the requirements to obtain a licence to issue a Mastercard. SKAI2 and Mona99 have been advertising with Mastercard for some time.
It repeats itself. As early as 2016, Lyoness was officially warned by Mastercard; even then, they tried to explain in a press release that a mysterious third-party provider had deceived Lyoness itself. This mysterious third-party provider was Lyoness itself with the “myCard” based in Gibraltar, founded by a former Lyoness employee and friend of Hubert Freidl.
Mona99 turned to the Bulgarian company Paynetics AD, registered as “Peinetics”. A company based in Sofia, founded solely by half a dozen foundation deposits. Paynetics is already allowed to offer sublicences but only under reservation. The company acquiring the sublicences would thus still have to undergo a review. However, it is questionable whether Mona99 or SKAI2 would pass an intensive review by Mastercard. Whether this will succeed legally remains doubtful.
It is repeatedly advertised that competent partner companies with many years of experience and comprehensive know-how are on their side. However, this remains an illusion, as this article clearly shows. Merely another attempt to use a marketing strategy with little substance and tangible facts to continue charging paying new customers and faithful marketers.
